CULTURE & COMPASSION: Arts for a Cause

Join us on Friday, March 22nd at 7:00 PM for an exclusive social event in appreciation of your dedication to Monday Night Hospitality.

Experience a special screening of the award-winning short film "Born Again Reject," featuring our beloved actor, comedian, and food packer Cindy Keiter!

In "Born Again Reject," meet Marc, an angry soul with supernatural powers and a thirst for vigilante justice. Memories flood his mind, particularly those of his evil foster care parent, Mrs. Hart. When Marc pays her a surprise visit, all hell breaks loose.

With nods to horror classics like "I Walked With A Zombie," "Ganja & Hess," and "Don't Breathe," alongside cultural touchstones like "Death Wish" and "Taxi Driver," "Born Again Reject" spins a gripping tale of trauma, indifference, and vengeance – reminding us that we reap what we sow. Starring Luis Morales, Cindy Keiter, Angelo Giannone, Ozzie Stewart, Leandro Anaya, and Steven B. Walters.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to stay for a Q&A session with Gene and cast members, moderated by editor and filmmaker Princess Hairston. Beverages and light snacks will be available.

All proceeds from the event directly benefit Monday Night Hospitality, the weekly meal program providing freshly prepared hot meals and warm community to hundreds of our neighbors in need each week.

Located at 1157 Lexington Avenue at the corner of 80th Street. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Be sure to secure your tickets in advance on Eventbrite, link below.

We can't wait to see you there!
